I didn't do the team analysis this week, but I did a Belbin questionnaire many years ago, when I was delighted to learn that rather than being a member of the animal kingdom, I'm a "plant".

Elektra wants to knwo if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It means that in a team situation, I'm the one that comes up with all the ideas, both practical and stupid. Other people are the 'doers', 'drivers', 'finishers' etc (I can't remember all the Belbin types, there's about 8 of them)

Yup, plants are the great inventive creative ones, a team without one can get stuck in a rut very quickly. They can sometimes be the mouthy pain-in the-...., but not always.

Others I remember are:

The Completer-Finisher - someone who dots all the Is and crosses all the Ts. I'm so NOT this, I always have to make sure there's one of these working closely with me.

The Resource/ Investigator - the person who has the contacts, can find things, buy things, source items, suggest places to try.

Monitor/Evaluator - can come across as critical of ideas, sees the flaws in plans.

Chair - peacekeeper, makes sure everyone has their say.

We should be guessing your Belbin type, Beatrice, shouldn't we?
