13th October, and we heard on the radio this morning, that although Cheatmeister came 8th in Japan, he won the championship!
Jimmy was rather upset, and got me to give him the $$ to pay the bet he lost. (Is that fair, I ask you!) The constructors' championship cannot therefore go to Williams, which is what the bet was all about.
The rain it raineth every sodding day, I wonder what Wm Shakespeare would make of this?
It is someone's birthday tomorrow... (I shall not name names.) Jimmy and I have prepared a cerebration thereof...
On a more serious note, there was yet another bombing in Baghdad this morning. Will the Americans *never* learn?

The cheatmeister only won the championship by two points in the end. Considering his cheating (overtaking under yelow flags, geting a push from the marshalls, trying to push other cars out of the way etc etc) (THIS YEAR ALONE) has gotta be worth at least two points in penalties - and considering his general arrogance and selfish attitude has gotta be worth a few more points in penalties - Kimi Raikkonen is easily the moral victor!

In the end, Williams threw away their advantage in much the same way that McLaren had earlier in the year. Sigh... Oh well, there's always next year.

Jenson Button, Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso are wunderkinds, with a great future.

We should all have a whip 'round and buy David Coulthard some motivation.

Minardi is the only team to end the year pointless (in more ways than one ).

It's sad though, that Cheatmeister won...
