A few hours ago 
aka Tiny crossed the rainbow bridge.
He was a fairly young cat, just about 5½ years old, but he had a tough start in life as a stray cat who eventually ended up in the local cat shelter from here he was adopted. He was always kind of feeble. The last pneumonia didn't heal and he developed a severe cardio-respiratory distress that worsened over the last few days.
princess spent Easter visiting friends in UK, so I had to keep him alive until she returned. Somehow I managed and today we took him to the vet and he was beyond resuscitation. He died peacefully after the final injection in the arms of his most loved human.
RIP my gorgeous kitty cat. We miss you.
