Nog has just walked dq over to the airport bus stop to begin her long journey back up north.
We had such a great time - miss her already! Though I don't think I can say the same for Azar 
...

At Madrid airport and I've just browsed Az's photos from Granada (see her blog post for today). I just can't understand where the last week has gone...
My visit to Spain has been just wonderful, and it was lovely to finally meet IRL. I miss the inhabitants of casa Az, including Azar 
- even though I'm convinced that he anything but shares that feeling. If looks could kill - or at least hurt 
I doubt I would be sitting here now...

And Azar was more upset than angry...he's an old nervous cat set in his ways. And then to have a sitting on HIS sofa! Well...

Arrived home late yesterday evening - to a Far North with cold rain and strong winds 
. The airport bus that normally stops close to the Lair did not due to the late hour, so I grabbed a taxi and was at home rather quickly thankfully.
Lynx and Leopardess greeted me and the Lair was somewhat in order. My catsitting son and I don't always share views about tidyness and general order...
Today I've spent a good deal of the day at the day spa that is partnered with the Sports Center where I'm a member. Biked 17 km (bragging!), spent some time in the hot well - temeperature 28C - and had a massage after that. No wonder I was very tired when I came home just after 4 o'clock. An afternoon nap with the cats and a dinner later I'm somewhat back to basics.
I had a fabulous time in Spain, much thanks to Az 
who knows where to go, what to do and where to eat. - and I did put on 1,5 kg

Just back from the gym... 
I'm happy to report that I didn't put on any weight in the past week, but I also didn't lose any. Time to detox, I reckon.
DQ, I suspect it was all that drinking you did, and not the food. After all, fruit juice and lemonade have a lot more calories than white wine.

aye, and don't under estimate the effect of alcohol. it dissolves fat

Now it's back to basics with the not too yummy food at the hospital canteen again
