Being fairly new to computers and the net I have been spending most of my time going in little circles trying to do even the simplest of things and spending far too much time in front of the screen. With that in mind if anyone spots this and wants to take pity on me Im not proud I'll gratefully accept any help or advice offered. Despite my failings I do feel slightly proud that three years into what we call the 21st century I am trying to catch up with the advances made in the 20th.smiley - run

hello and good evening/morning/afternoon or whatever it happens to be where you are.

Hope you and yours are well.

Thankyou for your kind consideration of help or sign posting to those who can help me. My first request is how can I make my personal space more distinctive and funky. All or any answers must be related in a way that the thinking-impaired like me can understand.

Congratulations and good luck regarding the new little person inside you hope everything goes well.

Children are great I work as a caretaker in a school and get to see the funniest sitcom ever when I'm at work. I also work as a youth worker in the evenings which allows me to take groups of people rokclimbing, rambleing, and do stuff like music workshops. AND get paid for it. However when it comes to having children off my I own I dont think I will. I thought about the sleepless nights, the vomit, the expense and the noise and Im just not prepared to give up those kind of weekends so that I can have a familysmiley - cheerssmiley - peacesign

if you want to jig up your user page the best thing to do is click on the following underlined bits; A155909 will take you to the smileys homepage so you can find out how to add smileyssmiley - smileysmiley - biggrinsmiley - coffeesmiley - cakesmiley - chocetc. if you click on A690518 that will take you to the "how to spice up your user page"page. read what both these pages have to say and then the best thing to do is to print them off, so as while you are editing you don't have to stop what you're doing if you want to look something up. once you've got the hang of it and you want to add pictures and stuff, go to the guide picture library on A692741. there you can choose from hundreds of pictures to transfer across to your pagesmiley - geek. that's my techie bit done. if all else fails, go to A214796 which is the ACES homepage and they can always help out.
managed to spend over 60 quid on the animals today. not that they are spoilt or anything.... spent loads on stuff for aero's new tank which is still only half finished. he's nigh on 3 and a half foot long now!
don't blame you on the kids front. it's always better to borrow them for a short time. then you can send them backsmiley - biggrinsmiley - towel.

Thanks to all those who have been kind enough t come to my aid and restore my faith in human nature, then again you could all be having a right laugh and leading me up the garden path. When I'm not so busy I'll digest them and try to put the information to use. If you need any advice on how to put things right after DIY disasters ask me. Im an expert in papering over cracks, hanging pictures of kilter to make shelves appear leve and which casualty departments have the shortest waiting times and best dirnks machines.
