I generally keep it to myself .
I'd change the subject in that forum to something more positive and tackle it now in a more private area like e-mail.
I don't know how to bring it up, but that don't matter now, you have done it. I would ask him to understand what its like for you and not to call you silly but...well sympathise and offer support, I personally feel that its best to not talk about it
I don't think you're a freak, anyone who does has a limited understanding of what you feel...more fool them
