ok, so i'm not as well today as i thought i'd be. i phoned in to work(again)and feel really bad about being off. but i didn't realise how exhausted i was until yesterday. because of the cold and the heat i've not done much round the house, well, all would be a more accurate description, but yesterday was animal cage cleaning day. darrenmoved ratty towers out for me so i could clean it out, and then put it back. i then did bludger's single storey home, sat on the sofa for a quick break and next thing i know, darrenis waking me up. then i did quaffle's cage. it was blasted knackering. then as it was about 9ish, we sat in the back garden and chatted to claire, stuart and toddler loren from next door(they are also the eevvviiillllll ones who infected me-but very good neighbours)for a while. and then loren ran through the lawn sprinkler, got soaked and decided she wanted cuddles. darrenand stuart were on the beer, claire had a glass ofand i had a. the caffine didn't stop me from falling asleep in front of the tv.
i'm hoping the weekend will provide enough recuperation time so i can return on monday in the rudest of health.

Dont know if your interrested but all this talk of health I was talking to Liz this morning about the tension she is feeling about her house move reminds made me decide to go out and buy a Barefoot Doctor book today.
My health has been great the last two years and I only missed half a day of work even when I crashed my motor bike one night and had to have surgery on it I was back at work hobbling round on the next afternoon.
Been reading his column for a while now and its got loads of practical advice about maximising your health and avoiding illness. In his column this week hes going on about how you can avoid the craving for cocaine by self massage and eating beetroot.
Anyway hope you feel better soon.
