h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

i started my new job on monday, it just so happened that i also woke up with a streaming cold. i went in, tried not to infect everyone, and left at 4pm(a tad early). yesterday i couldn't go in as i felt worse(and i didn't realise that was possible)and had a nasty cough too, and this morning woke up and found that i have misplaced my voice during sometime in the night.

to say that i'm not impressed is an understatement. to even guess what they're thinking is unthinkable. at least i've already done 19months in the court service, so i'm not on probation. but it's annoying anyhow.

if anyone has any remedies, i am willing to try themor.

Sounds like you've got the bug (or a very similar one) I had a couple of weeks ago..

Not really a lot you can do though as far as I know..just keep comfy

Josh brought it home from school for me I think..gave it to Help I'm Lost too Cough syrup helped with the cough..but it took ages to get my voice back

Have you tried looking down the back of the sofa thats where I find most things Ive misplaced.

Try a nice hot curry my theory is that it scares the germs out.

i think that was 'try a wiccan remedy for stinky rotten colds'. as long as it wasn't a mispelt wicca for wicker. leaves nasty marks on the rump i find.
