Here's a good one I just heard. G.W.Bush already has Osama Bin Laden under lock and key, but isn't going to allow it to be publicised until a few days before the USA presidential voting begins. That way he'll be seen as a hero, and be re-elected.

On the very remote chance that this is true, this rumour should be circulated as widely as possible to pre-empt Bush's strategy.

This presupposes that the American forces, who normally cannot find their behind with both hands, could have captured him.

The most plausible theory I have heard, from British friends who served in certain forces, is that OBL is already dead, burnt and the ashes scattered across some Afghan hillside.

After all you don't want him alive as he would become a focus for terrorist acts designed to free him. You don't want him publically dead as he would become a martyr. if he and his bodyguards simply disappeared he can be thought of as a coward who slunk off when the going got rough.

I think we have to brace ourselves for five more years of georgie boy. As with Blair he has no realistic opponents at home.

Hmm if he were already captured or dead wouldnt AlQ front up and choose a new leader.

I have a nasty feeling revealing the capture of Osama in time for the election is the kind of spin any politician would use to sway public opinion, lets just hope this isnt the case and that the slightly lesser of two bad parties wins in the US.

Ive got my fingers crossed for a Democrat win Im not superstious but it cant hurt to to do that....actually it does after a bit.
