I make Scotch pancakes occasionally, but the ordinary sort is a once a year thing, which is odd as they're so simple and great when covered in sugar and lemon juice smiley - drool

Cooking pancakes with my housemates is quite interesting as well, ended up a huge tea-towell fight and not much of the washing-up water stayed in the bowl smiley - biggrin

Pancakes are really great , there's always milk, eggs and flour in the house, and they're even better when you take some sparkling water smiley - magic

I must confess to never having cooked it for myself before, but as I've these great organic sausages from over the road in teh fridge, and I do know* how to make it even if I've not done so before, and as I've an ideal dish in which to cook it smiley - drool I'll rport on how it goes smiley - drool You think three sausages will be enough for one person smiley - ermsmiley - hotdog

smiley - drool

I haven't eaten pancakes on pancake day for 3 years now. smiley - sadface My late night here a work combined with ringing straight afterwards means I don't have time to make them, let alone eat them.

I'll have to make up for it at the weekend. smiley - biggrin

I made pancakes a lot when I was in uni. The left over batter was very useful when there wasn't any bread for breakfast.

smiley - drool that smiley - cake sounds yum smiley - drool I think you might have to lock it up so you don't eat it smiley - biggrin I think eating pancakes for breckfast is quite common in some countyrs/cultures smiley - erm I am making batter tonight for toad in the hole, and hopefully they'l be a little* left over to make some pancakes with for afters smiley - coolsmiley - drool I recon on three ounces plain flour, to one larigish egg, and as much milk is required to get it the right consistancey should make about enough for me smiley - droolsmiley - erm oh, I'm going to have to put some salt in it, but I can leave out the pepper, and add that in to only that which is to be used in the toad in teh hole and no for the weet versions smiley - dohsmiley - ermsmiley - headhurts something like that I think smiley - doh
