Ahhhh...I think I'd like to know...I mean, there are enough suprises with a baby as it is, aren't there ?
But you'll be fine...most of the kids I know seem to like boys better anyway...but that could just be because I have so many sisters, that any boy is a welcom change

I think it was mostly because they'd been trying to have a kid without success for a while so fair enough
also they're Christian
I see my role as to bring a little healthy hedonism into their kids life

But you can find out the sex with the sonogram (or whatever it's called), can't you?

yes but thats later on in the pregnancy isn't it
although I think my sisters attitude is shes having it come what may

That's fair enough...I mean when my girl's sister had her baby they decided that it'd taken them so long to get pregnant they wouldn't risk it with any unecessary tests and the like...which is totally understandable

thats what my sister feels and shes 33 years old which isn't old, but isn't young for having your first child

I already have an agreement with a friend of mine that, if I'm still single and childless by the time I'm 30 he will be "offering his services" for the cause...
Which would be fine anyway because he has lovely hair

thats sensible
my sister didn't want children for a long while and all for reasons that were good at the time, but now she wants 2 or 3 and of course by the late-30s it starts getting more dangerous
I've been told I'd make a good dad but I think I'll prefer being an uncle (typical selfish man)

I've also been told I'd make a good Dad !
I've always wanted to be married and have kids...the whole girly drivel ...for as long as I can remember...
...of course, if it doesn't work out, I'll still be able to do my "crazy old hippie lady on a motorbike" bit

your children will probably hate the whole "crazy old hippie lady on a motorbike" bit but the grandchildren will love it

My kids will have to get used to it...having said that, I'll probably end up with the most maistream trendy kids in existence
...off for a smoke...back in a while...!

thats nice
I don't think any of our family has visited each other at work since we were kids and our dad took us in to his office for the day

He works night shift, so this is the only time I get to see him these days...except for Saturdays at the pub, of course

I see my brother once a fortnight for Sunday lunch at the parents, and he usually comes round for a drink once or twice on my week off
My sister I see much less often, every couple of months

I see my Dad about twice a week (basketball and trivia)...I see Mum every work day...I see my oldest sister "every once in a while" (probably once a month or so)...my second oldest sister lives in the country, so we usually only see her on school holidays...the next one down I see a few times a week...the oldest brother I see a few times a week...my baby brother I don't see anywhere near as often as I'd like to...
...bl**dy big families...
