h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

1. Almost every time I go to get coffee at work, I end up getting Johnny Cash songs in my head....
2. I met my best friend at the pub when she fell in love with my Monkees top.
3. Occasionally on the tram on the way home I start making songs up based on signs in the vicinity... (Oh the pea soup cost me one dollar - and I got it on my collar! Men at work up in my street - they're all eating hunks of meat).
4. One of the most exciting moments I've had in the recent past when when my pub was used in a scene of a local comedy show...
5. A mate of mine (that I went to primary school with) recently admitted to me that he was a little scared of me.
6. I have a tendency to call all of my male friends "princess".
7. Every time I go out to play pool with one of my friends, the oldest, dodgiest guy will always try and pick me up...
8. The first record I ever bought was Roy Orbison's "Mystery Girl", and I cried when he died.
9. We have conference dinners for work a couple of times that always end in a sing along. I know all the bits to The Beatles songs that everyone else forgets.
10. I'm sitting at my desk at work, when I should probably be working, trying to convince myself that I'm not crazy...

The more I think about it, everything POINTS towards the possibility that I'm a nutter...but I seem so...rational???

Normal is something to be avoided, not to try to acheive...

Normal is sugbjective. My idea of normal may very well be different to everybody elses. But I usually have nightmares about mu idea of normal....

no, normal is not infact subjective, normal is merely the average of the whole

Therefore to say that someone is normal, is to imply that they are infact average, and that is not a compliment in my opinion. Therefore I strive to distance myself from normality

I've never strove to distance myslef from "normal", it's just the way it worked out....it's a gift, I suppose...
