smiley - yikes That's £40 toward a whole new hifi.

Cant't you buy a 'third-party one' on the cheap... Or better still Philips (and others) do a grovey remote that you can program to do everything, not one of these "one for all el cheapo" things, a proper programmable remote, you can even download logos from the web for channels, as you can contol TV, VCR, DVD, DigiBox, HiFi, Sat. etc. They are caled 'Pronto' by Philips, £149 for a mono display, you can get a colour one, but £ouch. Others sell them re-badged cheaper.

Buy a hi-fi mag (or pop to the library) and check out discount stores like Richer Sounds.

Or phone Technics for an RRP see if the shop is just taking the pea.

But yea see what you mean, 'spares' that are 'given' away with inital purchase are a real rip-off smiley - sadface

Plan B, get SLE to get-up and push the button smiley - tongueout *waves to SLE*

Got me a flashing arial so its all smiley - cool and stuff and a load of smiley - cool Polyphonic tonez so i dont sound like a smiley - silly when it rings. Also Sexy_lil_emz had to get a new one, so it's his and hers matching phones (ahhhhhh sweet).
