Yes, here you go, though you might have to copy and paste it..

Another thing. Jean-Michel's father is Maurice Jarre, who did the music for "Dr. Zhivago" and "Witness" among others.

Oops! I keep forgetting that first rule, and that's the reason why Brad Pitt flatly refuses to have anything to do with me.
Spookier still, there's currently an anti-cat thread on AskH2G2. I don't think it's the same cat, but you can't be too careful.

Ah, yes Maurice Jarre did the music for The Year of Living Dangerously. I like his music. Will check out the link for Jean-Michel.

That anti- thread's penultimate post is 3 years old or so, and then someone posted 42 minutes ago. Never seen that before. I can't imagine people are so impassioned about their cats that they've been sitting waiting for 3 years just to get an answer.
I wonder if Brad Pitt has a cat, or even an imaginary one, like mine

Hmmmm, I will have to see if the library has any of Jean-Michel's albums. They sound interesting/good.
*Goes to reread Journal now that I know who he is*

I find it interesting that "the secret life" was funny in a surreal sort of way, even before I knew who it was. Just thinking there's this guy, that likes to come up with weird sounds and straps fireworks to his car.

Did someone mention my name?
*giggles* I only found this thread by a convoluted route and low, I find Dr Deckchair monkeying about with the family Jarre - nice one Dr D
Well, he'll be getting out of the contract with Sony soon (you could tell with the last 2 albums it wasn't working, couldn't you? ) and back to his old self...and there'll be DVD's a coming
Seen him twice, y'know...
...some people might call me a fan, I dunno...

Doesn't JMJ's clock strike fourteen times for midnight instead of twelve?
When I was younger, I used to say that some day, he would organise a concert on the moon. It's only later I became aware he'd already come up with such an idea

He'd probably use it as a subwoofer and bounce the sound of Saturn.
I didn't know about the Sony thing, daSilva, but I have to say I quite like "Sessions 2000". Real spooky jazz .... nice. I don't know how he would do that one in concert though. I saw him once at Wembley on the Oxygene 2 tour. Took about 3 days to recover.

Saw that tour at teh NEC here in Brum DD, it was rather good wasn't it?
(Managed to see the Chronologie tour as well, that was big!)
Was going to go see the Aero concert last September in Aalborg but couldn't afford it - saw the webcast though, it wsa mostly dance/pop versions of his tunes - just him and one other guy on stage joined by Safri Duo for the encore...

It was a great show indeed. Like being pumped full of nitro-glycerin and wired up to the mains for a bit. Afterwards, all the normal stuff just looked lumpy..
