Well, after X years on hiatus, I've come back to the site. Thanks to everyone who's kept busy in my absence keeping the memorial free of bird poop.
How's life?

Traveller in Time on a new job
"We passed several records down here, new president if you have missed that, I dropped my migration officers hat as the sister sites are more close.
Currently we are dealing with the closure of Radio 2, Today and Science and Nature boards. (some influx of new Researchers to be convinced they have to Research instead of discuss radio topics )"

Good to hear, good to hear.
It's comforting to know that the abysmally slow search function has not improved one bit during my absence. It provides a sense of "continuity", I suppose.

Traveller in Time Tester and Guru by now
"The conversations search is 'switched off' deliberately. During the summer it did function for a few days and those were the worst days concidering overall performance of the site this year.
Actually I asked 'jim Lynn' to switch them off again, we had a daily downtime at midnight. "

Well, if there were an option to not search through all the posts you've made, I'm sure it would be quick as lightning
Anyway, I'm thinking of working on a (hopefully regular) feature for , probably a fictional series based on my experiences at the radio station where I worked (and still do) during my hiatus. Your thoughts?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
