Just about sums up how I feel at the moment. I seem to be on a roller coaster of emotions regarding the looming redundancy. I can't get stressed about it, there's no point. A lot of the time, I'm actually quite happy about it. I think that's weird.

Are you looking for other jobs and stuff yet? Something I'll have to consider soon, no doubt Oh well, perhaps breaking up my eternal studying with a year or so work wouldn't be a bad thing Keep your spirits up

Sounds a little like me; Whilst I'm still 'offically' registered at the University, and on the course, I can't really try to hard looking for a PhD/job, as it would break university rules if I went off doing something else; Even though I'm not doing anything on the course at Uni... Though I have been looking, for PhD's, in particular, I've not really found much so far In many ways It seems as if it would be easier if I just left the course/got kicked off, at least I'd know where I was, rather than this kind of 'half way' 'house' Oh well, onwards and upwards, that is the kitchen cleaned, so next is the bathroom, then my bedroom, then the lounge... and later tonight, I can nighthoover the place

yeah! You're very into housework aren't you, perhaps you could teach people how to do it themselves at home? On a serious note, have you thought of a job educating blind people, you said you went on a couple of courses yourself after the you were "mistaken for a seagull". You're great at explaining stuff, you're very patient, and you've got a warm, friendly, outgoing personality. What d'ya reckon?

To work educating blind people I'd still need a PGCE, unfortunately... me, patient? MORE BEER! NOW!!! I still recon the PhD might be a good long term thing Though, obviously I would just like to have been able to have done this course... well, I really ought to go do the bathroom now... and put some washing on at some point having noticed earlier I've about two pairs of pants left in teh draw I'll probably be on a bit later
