Peter, please send my best wishes to Terri and I hope that she will have a speedy recovery. She will be in my thoughts.

Peter, thank you for the update. Please tell Terri we are thinking of her, and hope she gets well soon. Pneumonia as you say is treatable. Perhaps it has nothing to do with her accidental innoculation after all.

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted Apr 25, 2009
Saw Terri's 'online eyes' a bit ago, and was hoping for good news, but nothing yet...
Also, wanted to leave this here for reference:
'Prioritising veterinary medicines according to their potential indirect human exposure and toxicity profile' - http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6TCR-4JCCJS3-1&_user=10&_rdoc=1&_fmt=&_orig=search&_sort=d&view=c&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=10&md5=aec8b1f1433800fa8639f7bb944a3cef
Can't really understand what it says, but someone more science-oriented might.

Thanks all for best wishes v quick update, i am tired as hell.
Discharged myself from hosptal yat again despite docs wishes, couldn' stand it, being made to stay awake half he night with horrendous noise, woken at 6am for 9 injections, multiole scans, IV tubes collapsing, no veins left etc; nobody tells you what may be happening. Tranferred yet again to Isolation Unit, masks, ggowns, gloves; i seem a mediccal mystery.
Best cse scenario seems to be werd type of pneumonia, possible ogstanding tropical disease, worse is weirdo strain of TB, worstest is cancer, prognosis weeks not monthths. .basically they don't know. Endured a week of tests, put on mind zonkers, no appetite, just wished to be left alone, impossible in hospital. No detectable BP etc. on to of that refused any benefits cos not habitually resident & no next of kin.
Escaped back to farm & so far no more blood, but knackered as hell, but managed 7am to 7pm Energy Show in Dublin & multiple phone calls next day glorious to be back inpeace, tho me & P are paying the price emotionally.
If it's worst case i can cope, so can he, i just don't w ant to die in anonymous hospital alone.
Hosp phoned today 'urgent: we need to do more tests including biopsy', they will have to wait till Tuesday, it's bank holiday, nothing gets done except utter boredom & stab wounds.
I just want to stay here & accept my fate & hopefully see the swallows nesting in the barn.
I do pray Abbi & the rest aren't going through similar would't wish this on my worst enemy; if Somebody would tell me likely diagnosis/prognosis! Seems to vary from weeks to months to a normal life span (whatever that may be!)
Meanwhile i will brave the tests, but won't do invasive stuff; i want to get into patchwork, , design/writing/birdwatching etc & create a lasting garden & see Yoda again (forbidden to travel by air);er & play some music (sod Bou & co for stealing my bass!)
Good news is i'm not really in pain, it may just be a longstanding tropical disease aggravated by the sheep jab, socalled swine flu (actually now mutated into pandemic transmitted via humans it seems) now reached Ireland & hits folks like us rather badly)
Sory for
negative stuff, too tired to write more right now.
all for keeping thread alive, i do lurk when i can but may be too knackered to say anything!

Aww, hun. I'm so sorry you've been going through all this. That's terrible you can't get a proper diagnosis. I'm thinking of you. Rest as much as you can.

With luck it's something treatable, perhaps you're right and it may be a relapse of a latent infection. Anyway, hopefully the tests will go well and you'll hear a diagnosis soon. Fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for you, my Wooh. All my love.

all 'you lot', who've also been through the mill. I basically want bto be left alone, will endure teststs a jabs till black n blue, only to find out what 'the powers that be' rreckon & ensure it's not contagious, meanwhile try and get some sort of job since they refuse to acept i am disabled ; which rather excludes resting stuff!
I amt tired as hell, but it's difficult to kill zendevils easily (many have tried & failed!)
SORRY FOR NOT CONTRIBUTING MUCH TO OTHER FOLK'S THREADS, not shuoting, the million drug stuff does weird things.including visual things.Lots of stuff i could say but not on here, email if you want more please but depends when i am ok to concentrate.
P is great but coming to the end of his own personal tether i feel "who cares for tge carers?" which makes me do more than i should on reasonable days.
Sorry not much positive to add. hOW AREyou all?
