Ahh,I didn`t ignore you-I related your nickname to the nickname of a dear friend`s husband, flashed on Rocky & Bullwinkle,& had the presence of mind to,rather quickly, send a pithy reply to you! smiley - winkeyesmiley - bigeyes

Wow, Neugen, you've traveled a lot!! I am so jealous. I have very fond memories of the two times I got to go to Europe, but I've never had the opportunity to go to more exotic places.

Yeh, Neugen, I'm bipolar. I've never included that on my user page, because I don't really think that defines who I am. However, I think anyone who has chatted with me for any length of time on h2g2 knows. I've always thought that the term "bipolar" sounds like a National Geographic documentary about the Arctic and the Antarctic! smiley - laugh By the way, the term for very mild manic depression is Cyclothymic. (Hope I spelled that right)

Abbi, it helps that one is alabaster, and the other is goo. Puts me in a different frame of mind for each.

WOW, now that idea ,I like! It would make a huge difference. My memory is pics/colors ,so I would be able to keep it straight that way! Brilliant actually smiley - wowHmmm....very interesting. I would put the more emotional ..poetry..music..dreams in goo!I'd keep alabaster for more logical .Humor in both smiley - boinghopefully

Hi Abbi, yes I picked Goo for my Dream Journal, because the dark blue seemed like a night sky, and therefore appropos. I need to link up my two pages so people can take a peek at my dreams.

Terri, I would be interested in hearing more about your friend's project on depression. Is he or she seeking any input on the subject of mania too? (Because I could give an earful.) My experience with depression has been more mundane - mainly fatigue. Why don't you email me, my address is on my space?

Couldn`t agree more Ellen,Hati has SAD so I said that the conventional therapy is to use a full-spectrum sun-light& bask in it.Then I suggested a mono-inhibitor might help if the depression was too deep.I couldn`t get out of bed last winter-now that`s depression! smiley - alienfrown But now I sing the body electric (obscure reference to a sci-fi story) smiley - winkeyesmiley - bigeyes

That's Ray Bradbury, right? He is my favorite author! (Well, maybe he ties with Douglas Adams) I grew up on Bradbury short stories. smiley - love them.

Yes! smiley - eureka you like Bradbury too. Asimov was impossible for me to put down, but Douglas Adams is in a class by himself.Joseph Campbell said 'follow your bliss' to be happy in your life.I`m fascinated by James Burke, and as there`s no entry I can find on him,I`m thinking of smiley - grovel-ing to Apparition to help me link 'connections(1-3)'to the guide;I`d write a hopefully pithy comment about how he seems to know how everything modern originated then link the series to my entry.

You mean you want to put a link on your user page? Have you started using Guide ML yet at all?

Or you want to write an entry and link it? I guess the process is pretty much the same. I have links on my user page, but I haven't written any entries besides some collaborations.

Ah,the address must be in the land of google-I will venture forth & try to find 1.smiley - ta for offering to talk me thru it-my partner thinks I`m mesmerized;happy, but mesmerized. When I have a basic ? he is a bit snootish answering me-or he just does it himself. smiley - biggrinsmiley - flyhismiley - bigeyes
