Merry Christmas to all you researchers!

I just got back from a 5-day vacation somewhere in the tropics . i'd like to say touristy things and say that the weather was glorious, that the vacation was enjoyable and restful etc etc. However, the fact is that in those five days, more rain poured down than there is water in the whole damned Atlantic... we were waterlogged, and I pretty much got dragged into every shopping mall around - and mind you, there were plenty . On the bright side, I almost broke the bank and my back buying a pile of books and classical cds, so I guess the trip wasn't entirely wasted .
