By the way,

the News in the Post this week - about the artistic album - with the pictures, is more inviting evidently,
because this time there are mĂșch more visitors.smiley - smiley

Don't tell me it might be a representation of the physical aspect of He Who We Call Anhaga? Surely (and I know by your rich transgendered cyberexistence you don't mind that I call you Shirley) that can't be!!! smiley - smiley

Yes, in fact, that is the person in the first 'anhaga' picture in Az's gallery, standing there at the corner of the Decumano Massimo and Cardo V. smiley - winkeye

...and not only do I have some land I would like to sell you in (shall we say) the *lowlands* of Florida but the pictures of it are in fact current even though they are in black and white...

Mudhooks:

What does one do if one wishes to replace on of one's images? Particularly in light of the streamlined system you are considering.

Hmmm.... Perhaps if you post a comment under the one you want replaced with the one you email, I can transfer the new one into the album and remove the previous one.

Since we haven't had people battering down the gallery doors, I wouldn't worry about the number of images.... Actually, we've had plenty of visitors.

I don't actually have any replacements at the moment, but there is one I'm thinking of improving at some point.

My one concern with the direct email method is that I don't actually know who sent an image. It just appears in the album. Given the problems that az has had just with certain people leaving comments, I can see problems with the method.

I have a fair amount of control in that I can activate or deactivate the email feature for albums. However, all that figgling is more time consuming than doing it the way I have.

At this point it is just a thought.

Perhaps for "trusted friends" I can leave an album available, should they need it.

Yes, that can be a "problem".

I love the care you take to think it all over.
