Well, it's been nearly a month now. I'm still employed, but I still haven't heard whether my agency is going to improve my law enforcement waiver and let me keep my park 
I'm also done with physical therapy. My insurance company told me to f*** off. So, I'm left with partial use of my "strong" hand, a career in doubt, and the continuing potential for being left homeless.
Perhaps that will explain why I've been making myself scarce lately...

I don't know - "improve" works too 
What is the Disability Equal Rights legislation like in the Land of the Free? Do your employers not have some sort of obligation to get someone else to do the shooty bits for you?
Sorry to hear about the therapy: I get the idea I'll be bored with mine before they kick me off, but so far so good...

Ranger, I just found this thread - it'd gotten buried under all the more active/frequently-used threads! I sincerely hope everything works out in your favor! Waiting Is the pits, but let's hope it's a decision well-worth waiting for!
