Hi again!
A few weeks ago, I made the decision to finally get a new PC for myself ... however, the question was should I buy ready-made or should I try and build one myself? I eventually decided that what the hell, I should build one so I could have exactly what I wanted from it. So after a few days' discussion with my closest computer expert (James) I ordered all the parts I needed to build it online (except for the power cord for the computer ) and they arrived at home (in Congleton) last Thursday ... I brought them up to Manchester the following weekend and yesterday I actually built the thing (with some help from James). And since I'm actually typing this on that PC, you can probably tell it was a successful build! (There is a slight glitch with one of the front USB ports, but I could soon sort that out.) I also signed up to my hall's Ethernet connection so now I no longer need to use their computer cluster *and* I can spend more time chatting to Alex!
BTW, things between me and Alex have continued to go really well - over the past couple of weeks, we've done a kind of 39-hour date: we meet up after my orchestra rehearsal in Manchester on Wednesday evening and have a night out (e.g. restaurant, cinema) before we spend the night together in my room. The following morning he goes into town while I do my work at uni for a few hours before we meet up for lunch and then go to Liverpool that afternoon for a night out there and the night in his room, before I go home on Friday afternoon. We're discussing some fairly serious stuff like living together, although it's also still a lot of fun to spend time with him ... maybe he is the man I've been looking for to spend the rest of my life with - I dunno for sure, but the signs do look good so far!
Anyway, that's enough of me rambling on ... comments are welcome as always!

It's not something that I can tell on here, it was a little bit wierd and really quite naughty

I now know what it was - OK, so it's been a couple of weeks since Iago told me (I've been busy) - and it *was* a little bit naughty but I wouldn't blame him for doing it!

It was very wierd but lots of fun and I don't think (as I said to Mike) it was that naughty but the mods would kill me if I posted it on here

The same goes for a few things that have happened around here in the last few months... A lot of fun, but there's no way I'll be posting anything that even comes close to being a detail.
Oh wel, we might as well cultivate an air of mystery while we're about it.

If you really want to know and you have az's email, you could ask her for my address. Actually, you could do that anyway if you want. Then we can create an even greater air of mystery as we know what we're talking about but no-one else does

Ooh yes, we could exchange knowing looks across a crowded thread...
I might get a chance to deal with emails this weekend sometime.
(But seriously, I don't need to know the details. The current air of mystery is quite enjoyable...)

Saying what I've been up to with Alex recently would fry the Mods' brains! Although while I do enjoy the air of mystery for a short while, I'd have to know at least a few details sooner or later - just to satisfy my curiosity and nosiness!

Fried brains - probably not what we need around here.
And yes, curiosity is getting the better of me. There's an email address on my space - my hootoo-only account - anything sent there will get my real account details in return.
