I know what you mean about threes.

My theory about Mary is that as the Roman Catholic hierarchy became more in favour of celibacy they had to divert the s*xual appetite of the priests, so Mary became their mother/lover (I just used to do hard physical work myself). Celibacy became desirable on several counts, theological and practical. If you want to be able to send your workforce anywhere at any time, single people are preferable - no family ties. Just listen to what army wives say about the problems they have.
Oh and i had a few second off work at 12:34:56 on 7/8/90 (and 01:23:34 on 5/6/78). Twice for each - American and UK date formats (mm/dd and dd/mm)

I felt there was a spiritual connection but I was never happy with the trinity as explained to me as a child. I have had a great interest in that being the *split* of many a church.
