Can't mix guide ML and plain text on your page, but will be glad to help you get some basic guide ml into it so you can do some snazzy stuff if you want.

I was wondering how I set up the "Nation" for different topics. Should that even go on MY personal page? (WE -the nation)wanted a lighthearted place. I'd like a whining place & info (rarely absolutely neccessity ) It would be good to keep them seperate but readily available. I was thinking The Cheer-"It really doesnt Matter" my favorite. The kinda Nation stuff that just needs a voice, then can be let go of OR for those really bad (wispering) times that take a while. Hmm thats 2. Temporary & THE struggle ..... rambling gain. 3 spots in all then. What can ML really do 4 ME?

Ok, if you want to set it up as a separate page, you need to write a guide entry - go to the lower part of your page where it will say "guide entries" and click on where it says to "create a new guide entry". You can do this entry in guide ml if you want or just do it in plain text if you prefer, and right now since you don't know any guide ML prolly you'll just want to do text instead. Easier, of course. Don't forget to put in a subject line!
Then after you've done that, click on "not for review" (unless you want your entry to go through the peer review process), and "add guide entry" (But not to worry if you forget something, you can always go back later and edit it, even after it's done). Once the guide entry page comes up, you can start adding conversations for whatever subject matter you like. I'd suggest a sign up thread as well as the other topics you suggested.
Finally, don't forget to sign up to be notified of any new conversations for that article.
Linking it to your U-page would be good... hmmm... I don't know if that can be done without doing your U-page in guide ML or not... ... prolly not. If you want to do your U-page in a simple guide ML so that you can link it, let me know and I'll help you through it.

Oh, and if you want to have the original conversation moved to your new nation page (once you get it done) click over there where it says "who's online", find a name written in italics, click on it, explain that you've started a new page just for a particular topic that's linked to your page, and which thread you'd like moved - the italics are the ones who have the power to do that. They'll probably be glad to move it for you.
