No word on: the Gene Therapy yet, have to wait till after the Holiday. No word on: when I can see my sister. This is the longest seperation we've had since we met up. We think we are twins. We sure would like to know our birthdays before we die!(long story) We met in 1996 after being seperated at 6 yrs old. Each "knew" the other was out there-- with no one to back us up on that. This has undoubtably made me MORE stubborn when "I feel I know something"! Since we have re-met we've seen each other 3-4 times a year. I miss her. Soon, I hope to at least hear that we can make a plan to see one another! That would help my mood!

If you're approximately the same age - meaning if you're less than a year apart, chances are, you could be twins! Separated twins often have feelings that the other one is out there somehwere.

Yep. How kind of you to say! Most people say HUH? Your NUts! Then they see us its double vision Her children-- 10,16,21,28 were spooked at first sight! It been fun for us, after we got over the shock! We tell of having the same thoughts, experiences, names for things and mannerisms. It was a broken heart that was healed! A mystery solved after 38 yrs We know we are the "person" the other missed, twins or not. There are a few other reasons, why we think so.

How did you get back together? You can just direct me to the story if it's in a journal or backlog, rather than retelling it all again.

Have not written about it. We wanted to write a book--we were told our family story was too much, it would not be believed! Still may do a part of it,who knows. WE both knew some of the older sibs. They were very reluctant (blocking actually) to talk or give info about the other. This stood out because out of 11, there was only one other, oldest, whom did not want any contact. We were both told a story,same one. The older boys were very loyal to Bio-Moms version of truth. That made us suspicious and we both thought about why--We both thought we had a twin---we both started snooping. Finally one sister said she'd met the other. Actually she knew us both for 10 years or more. She kept it a secret. It took a lot to wear her down! Our Sister called & said: Be warned ,she thinks you are her twin. Ha! Ha! We sounded exactly alike, she confessed imediately she'd thought I may be her twin.We met 1 week later. We both are very private, love our homes and it was not like either of us to "invite a stranger or go to a strangers house" for a week 1000 miles away! It was immediate silence then at the same moment, Dam* we LOOK like twins! We have gotten along as if, we'd not missed a step since.

The plot thickens...

I don't know what the reasons were of course that you were split up, but it must have been something pretty bad for everyone to keep it so hush-hush all that time.

Yes, I believe you do - did you know there's a code you can put on your page to have everyone who has you on their page listed on your page as well? Can't remember the code right now - I think GB mentioned it in the romance thread...

I have not mastered ML yet, I have a fine tudor though, Moose Thundercat. She naggs me to get on with it. I conciously (sp?) "invite" only a small amount of aggravation per day.
