h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm thinking of writing a Guide Entry on the many foes of Batman, and thought it might be a good idea to compile a Top Ten for that. As I'm sure my views would be different to those of other people, here's my initial thoughts:

In no particular order...

- Joker
- Ra's al Ghul
- Bane
- Poison Ivy
- Hugo Strange
- Deadshot
- The Ventriloquist
- Penguin
- Two-Face
- Scarecrow

Catwoman I've left out because she tends to veer between friend and foe. And the Riddler has never been much of a threat (apart from when he was possessed by a demon).

Others: Killer Croc, Cat-Man, Killer Moth, Anton Stirk, Ratcatcher, Corrosive Man, Zeiss, the Clayfaces, Cluemaster, KGBeast, NKVDemon... the list, it seems, is pretty much endless.

i will certainly read with interest your entry on batman's foes..

already had a peep...

do you intend to keep to the comic books/graphic novels ones or mention the movies versions as well?!... _might_ be tricky as the origins in the movies do vary from the comic books...

I was mainly thinking of the comic book versions, but I'll throw in some bits and pieces about the movie ones as well. I think it's going to take me a few weeks to finish it anyway, so it'll probably spiral out of control by then. As long as I don't get down as far as Kite-Man or the PolkaDot Man I'll be OK.

yep... definitely a big task there... i do admire you for doing it...

i think the first batman movie [the one with michael keaton] was largely inspired and influenced by frank miller's work...
so it kind of went back to batman's roots in a way...
shame the last ones are not keeping with it so much...

anyway, i let you carry on with it.. i know it's a big job and don't want to disturb you more than necessairy... let us know when you've finished it.. and do take your time... i'm sure it will be worth the wait...

it's a new project of ours and the more info we can get/provide on the topics there the better...
