kow: yep.. they have headphones... but the noise doesn't come from their computers... it comes from their mouths unfortunately....

some of them seem to play the same game at the same time... and comment on each others [lack of] skills...

apart from that it's a nice little cybercaf.... more friendly than the two others nearby...

hi loup/still havin mega probs with digibox but sometimes better than others..lack of memory msg dispays after 5-10 minutes online..is this still normal?im using plain skin but its very tempremental and locks up completely sometimes..do you think i could and should contact telewest?could they help? and please put my name on the ld'ers list..cheers

I don't think it's a very good idea to contact TeleWest, as you're supposed be using their spanking new PPV chat rather than h2g2.

You shouldn't really be having so many problems with the plain skin, unless it's <./>Askh2g2</.> you're having problems with. What are your preferences set as?

my preferences are set for "frames" instead of "page"... seems to be ok that way... try it and tell us how it goes... you will still need to click on "update details"... i know it might be obvious but it's easy to forget about that as it's placed at the bottom..

as for complaining to T.WEST, err yep why not as long as you say that it happens when you access their interactive sites [forgetting conveniently to mention that you're using your digibox for accessing a more interesting site [eg h2g2] than the ones they provide...]...
