The Matrix Reloaded
Professor Zane of unreal math’s and irrelevant theories Posted May 31, 2003
yes its just the way a lot of people think its new most of the tirks they use have been in wire-fu films for long time,
but not the tech stuff now that good!!!

You mean like some of the Jackie Chan films etc... he doesn't use wies when he's fighting, but his fights are always choreographed beforehand...
Yeah... the wire tricks in Reloaded are definitely state of the art... hence when Neo fights the 100 Smiths he spins and twirls around in 360's etc... that's done by a new type of wire spindel that allows you to move in any direction and make it look very realistic...
Like one of those machines you sit in that spins around in different directions at different speeds... and then you get off and feel sick...
Only the Reloaded stuff is moe contained and smaller etc...

or have you been reading to much about TMR?

Nah... I've never been on one... but I'm a media studies student at my college so I choose to learn these sorts of things...
I also saw a type of documentary on the making of TMR... it was very good...
I've written a little something here A1065764 I think that's it...
Have a look, tell me what you think so far...
I've written the reason I've made it at Askh2g2...

Ta...
Dark City is definitely one of the best films I've ever seen...
It's actually one of the weirdest memories I have...
I remember watching it and every time I think of it I get the taste for bangers and mash... lmao... because that's what I was eating the first time I saw it...
Keifer Sutherland... very good in it...
That is sort of (in certain respects) like the Matrix...
don't you think???...
where there's one who is ammune (not by his own fault) to this mind controlling act that changes peoples lives every day/night and they have no idea about it... and the fact that their "universe" is just one town that leads to nowhere...
Like the piece of earth was removed from the planet...
Very good film...

very close to the matrix, strange how things happen like that, like an idea is out there floating about waiting to be picked up then a few just grasp the inspiration, think we like the idea that the world we live in is unreal, that some how we can escape to another place a real plane, just as some hope for a heaven.

Ah... now there you see... you've grasped an ancient past-time where say 200-300 even 2000 years ago you could actually be punished for not beleiving in "God"... but now... we just want to believe that there's something better than this... something... else...
Like in Dark City... it can't just be that place that is alone... there must be other civilisations in the Universe... otherwise... what's the point of making all that space just for one planet to have life on...
Did you just watch the Animatrix on Channel 5???...
F**K me it was intense... for a cartoon... definitely freaked me out...
I completely forgot it was on... but my box crashed on here and when it came back on my reminder was flashing and it had already started... doh!...

now i`m on the south coast i cant get 5.
being punished for not believing in "God" did very much depend on you culture
i ve never gone for any creation myths
i believe in an infinite changing universe, so there is always somewhere or something else out there.

You mean like Cornwall or Hastings or something... I'm crap at English geography (I live in Essex)
I'd rather believe that something (something pleasent) is out there... and it just freaks me out thinking about robots taking over the planet etc... it always has done ever since I watched an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Borg were first introduced... I was only about 8 I think... I had nightmares for weeks and sometimes still do...
I don't like to feel that I'm not in control of my own life (not stealing that from the Matrix... I really feel that way)

im somewhere in between them just about to move again
i`v always been freaked that ants will take over it comes from seeing a move when i was about 8 i think it was all about ants taking over the weirdest film, be freaked by ant ever since and who said we arnt effected by media!
i dont think we have the knowledge or power to create robots that can destroy us were more likely to destroy ourselves.

Yep... if Adam and Eve did exist one time... and all the "stories" are true etc... then it's humans who fu**ed themselves...
Sodom and Gamorah... 40 Days and 40 Nights of Rain... Ten Plagues... World War 1/2... all the other wars... everything... I don't think there's anything left in the world that's good...
I feel sorry for those who're born into this world... they've got no say in what happens... they can't do anything... they're helpless...

Ok I can't remember if I posted this here or somewhere else and I can't be bothered to read the backlog lol. I was wondering about Neo stopping the sentinels at the end of the film. I figured it could be that something happened when Agent Smith tried to turn Neo into him, giving him power over machines in the real world... it's just an idea but it would work...

You didn't post it here mate... I would of said about it...
Devious... very good idea there...
Because Smith took power from Neo when Neo jumped into Smith in the first oe... so why can't Neo take Smiths power too...
It was the first time that he's "felt" a Sentinel...

yeah, it also sort of fits with the adam eve thing; the machines are, as such, god (as they created the matrix), upon saving trinity Neo has "taken a bite from the apple" which in the bible gives him knowledge, in this case he gains these powers...
Or I could be stretching things!!!

I don't know about that...
I'm not that "boned up" on my religious mumbo-jumbo etc...
But I think it would be amazingly beneficiary (think that's the word) to everyone interested in the Matrix if The Wachowski brothers and co could say... write a book or create a special DVD to fully let us understand everything about the Matrix...
They must know about it... or they wouldn't of made the film...
Did you catch Second Renaissance Part Two on Sunday night???... it was sick... but great...
