Give me an idea that works, and you may save my cat's life. He will NOT stop leaping onto the benches/stove/sink/tv/shelves/desk, etc. Things I've tried so far that have failed: Squirt gun, spikey plastic mats, cat repellant, balloons tied to the edge (the idea being they may pop when he jumps up, he just jumps over them), shouting and screaming. However bear in mind he's deaf, so loud noises will not work.

I wouldn't mind so much, except he knocks everything down in his wake. . . GRRRRR!

smiley - biggrin Yeah, but he's deaf, and sign language doesn't appear to be his thing.

Wow! I had heard people can get a bit nasty on hootoo these days, but hadn't really experienced it myself until now. Check out the thread I left for this problem at Ask H2G2; http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F19585?thread=6820011 The reply from Effers particularly got to me, as you can tell from my reply. I tried not to get too annoyed, but I wonder what my regular hootoo mates thought.

I must say how happy I was to get a really nice apology from Effers, and very promptly too! Perhaps my faith in my fellow hootooers has been restored smiley - biggrin
