Ranch balls??? 
That is actually a Mexican or South American recipe, nothing to do with Spanish breakfasts really. Though I quite like huevos rancheros myself.
Both Blues and SLG have become quite adept at ordering their favourite brekky here, a toasted 'mollete' (type of bread) with butter and jamon serrano. Jamon serrano is similar to parma ham.
Well, so far they are not starving to death.
