oh yes. i was an inpatient. about a week after my last post, my doctor referred me because i wasn't doing well enough just on medication. they wouldn't let me out until my mom flew out and they were assured i'd have a babysitter. since then i've been recovering ok i guess. i mostly feel disoriented and paranoid about the future. but at least i can function. i can finally post the computer now, apparently. stupid as it sounds, it scared me for a while.
anyway

i got scared of the computer too, just before i was introduced to the joys(!) of a French loony bin. It really doesn't help having a crisis in aforeign country does it? At least they "nearly" squeak the same language in Scotland!
Good that you are back on here now, communication with folks who understand even a little bit is bloody important.
yes, as Ivan says, DO let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
with feeling better & give the kids a big sloppy from me!

Blimey, well I shouldnt be too shocked lots of people have an episode or episodes of poor mental health. It is so common that it's practically normal, just dont be like I was and too stubborn to ask for help or admit to a problem. Luckily there were people willing to help even when I wasnt asking. Im sure you have enough people in RL and round here to get you through this
one love

thanks all.
i kept telling myself 'at least this is free.' otherwise i would have gotten rather resentful about the inedible scottish hospital cuisine . i never knew there could be so many disgusting varieties of mushy puddings..and i don't think i can ever drink squash again.
