PP: Bargains and fish!

Please note, I have decided to prefix all my journal entry's with PP so you know that they are mine.

Firstly, the fish...

Went to Portsmouth yesterday, and ate at Loch Fyne. It's a chain of v. good quality fish restaurants. Had Clam chowder to start, full of peas, with lovely slices of new potato. Utterly delicious, and I wasn't sure I'd like it!

Then, my bid for world domination comes ever closer. That scrumptious varitey of shellfish known as the king prawn has been defeated. I'd never shelled a prawn before, but am now expert (well, i did get 6!). Course, they'd been covered in parsley and were quite charred, so my fingers were covered. And I had to spritz them with perfume to hide the smell of fish. Not the best meal for a first date.

Dripping, I moved onto a creamy lemon sorbet. Ooh! Hope I'm going back tomorrow! (In Winchester, they have a branch there).

Now, to the bargain:

To begin, GAP jeans (low rise, flared) for £19.99. Which was amazing, as the cheapest I'd seen were 24.99 in New Look, and GAP isn't known for cheap prices!

Then, New Look. Purple Satin blouse, slightly billowy at bottom, lovely cuffs, for

A POUND!!!!

Jammy little begger aren't I?smiley - winkeye

Glad to be of service. We didn't have the mussels (or oysters, not that I would have had them) due to harvesting problems...can tell it's fresh.

Ooh, was looking through the meet photos, cool t-shirt! You could take it to mean that Arthur had given it to you. What's he likesmiley - tongueout

*shrugs* I don't know.

I don't know him that well at all, really - I've only met him at a couple of meets, and not really chatted to him that much.

Went and said hi, seems friendly!

Went to Winchester Loch Fyne yesterday, steak gorgeous! Dad had the prawns this time, different way of doing the sauce, more like a tomato pasta sauce here. Still nice though. Dorade and scallops very good, as was mackeral pate, which surprised me. We'll have tried everything on the menu bar the oysters soon!
