I love you! (in a sisterly way before you get very scared!)

Catwoman Posted Aug 15, 2002
Don't worry, it takes more than that to scare me!
Aha! I am great (to repeat a theme) 4 A's in A-level's, one A at AS (only critical thinking though, so not important) and a distinction for my bio extension!
I am a very useful sister to have if you wanted to do science subjects...

Catwoman Posted Aug 16, 2002
I'm off to do Natural Sciences in october, which is sort of a pick-and-mix for the first year at least, but it's gonna be mostly biology with a bit of chemistry. (and a lot of oh-my-god-I-don't-believe-I'm-here)

Still exciting though (alos scary, v long way form home).
By some weird coincidence my bestest friend is also going (not on purpose, I chose first, her dad went there, etc) but to a different college, so she'll be in the city at least.

That's nice, bit of suport for each other, but I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends!

You've got to be friendly when you're sharing a bathroom with 20 other people (that may be an exaggeration).

I hope so, that sounds horrendous!

Catwoman Posted Aug 19, 2002
Yeah, I know. It'll be okay.
I will be lovely and friendly to everyone, and not call anyone a girl when they are not, because you can see them, isn't real life just so much easier?

No, on here, if I thinki I'm going to say something hurtful I can stop and calm down before answering, thereby being nicer. I haven't properly fallen out with anyone online, and noone knows my bad bits so I can be lovely and not have to worry. I'm always arguing in real life, it's horrible. I'm a million times more popular here than in the real world. It was great when I first came on because I'd only just left school and suddenly there were these people who'd leave messages for me because they wanted to get to know me better and I just sat here thinking "Me, they want to be friends with me? But I'm supposed to be psychotic and horrible and have no respect for other people? Wow!"
BTW, I am a nice person....at least, I think I am.

Psychotic? Fun. I like psychotic. Okay, maybe not, but at least it's interesting. At school school I was just the equivalent of a nerd (we don't have proper names for it all without speaking American).
I did mean to say school twice, it's cos I went to school and then college, but a lot of people my age just went to school all the way through (mine didn't do that).
I say silly stuff and people don't always see that I'm joking, or I say a joke that would make sense to different people. Oh, and I am very very bad at genders.

Is that a polite way of saying you're sexist?

Catwoman Posted Aug 21, 2002
No, I mean I wrongly assume people's genders (see A774399 if you like).

I read it in the post. Very Good by the way, and yes, Pearl is a female!

Actually, I didn't notice you'd gone! I delibeartely chose Pearl for it's old lay connotations, I thought it might be fun to have a sweet old Granny name. Plus it had a lovely alliteration with pinwheel!

Nice little old ladies are not always as nice as they seem...
So what does Pinwheel have to do with anything?

There's a sort of cake that's a pinwheel. Or is it a pastry-based thing? Anyway, it's swirly.
