I gave you fair warning. This is me at the moment
Why? Put it this way, I am currently building an exclusive torture chamber for whoever wrote my moving and feeding paper. There was nothing, repeat NOTHING on teeth, human or dog, and nothing on how fish move, a substantial part of the syllabus. In fact, the only mention of fish was in the last question which was all about a model fish. This might seem fine, until you realise that it was all about the forces acting on the fish. This question was quite plainly Physics. The paper was part of Biology.
I rest my case. Needless to say, I am terrible on forces and, until I sat the paper, thought that Moving and Feeding would be the easiest. Hmph!!

What exams are you taking that have a whole pape on moving and feeding?
(I hate physics too, you can add that to your list)

You have to sit several multiple choice question papers on various bits of the syllabus in you first year. It's just the way the syllabus works. and I'm no longer taking those exams as I left school!

Why left? What doing now?
Multiple choice? Pah, that's easy (it's only easy if you know the answer, right?)

Yes, because they do little things to try and trick you!
I left because I was getting horrendous bullying from lots of the pupils including the son of one of the deputy head's son (the other appeared to have a grudge against me).

Nasty. So what are you doing now?
You can tell me to stop asking questions, that you'd rather do the 'coy and evasive' thing if you want.

I'm going to sit three GCSE's at the college I want to sit my AS and A levels at but continue studying my other topics at home. Hence me writing the home education entry.

I had picked up on that, I guess that's why you're so pro home-ed.
What's AS's are you plannig on doing? (convenient apostrophe there, typos could result in problems)

Languages are great, but very hard.
I can't help you with anything else cos I'm a scientist myself.
I typed wrongly, didn't spell wrongly.
Just cos you're doing English...

Sorry if this sounds rude, but you don't seem like a scientist to me!

Catwoman Posted Aug 8, 2002
Only in the sense that I study science.
What should a scientist be like?

No fixed thing, you just seemed a bit imaginative!
Apologies to all scientists for this hideous stereotyping!

Catwoman Posted Aug 9, 2002
If science is going to get anywhere we've got to be imaginative.
(my chem teacher always complained about the "biologists" having a fish tank, and the "environmental scientists" leaving mud everywhere when they did soil analysis, I must have picked it up from there)

If you're too modest, try writing a Persnal Statement thing (goes on UCAS form when apply to uni). You HAVE to write about a page saying why you're great and why they should pick you. Very bad for the modesty glands.
