h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Wow...what a revelation. For years I've suffered with colds...most people get the sniffles for a few days I would get gallons of snot meaning dependance on boxes and boxes of tissues (I've had a cold for 3 days and got through 2 boxes of tissues ond 2 toilet rolls...and this is when I've been in the nice position of being drugged up to the eyeballs with decongestant and paracetamol)...which means one very unhappy nose.

Vaseline - miracle cure as it is is powerless against the red crustiness my nose takes on after 1/2 a day with a cold.

Ultra-balm tissues - feel nicer but don't stop the redness and flakiness that develops post cold.

But Happinose...which appears to be made of paraffin and menthol seems to have achieved what nothing else has ever done. The redness was less, the dryness was actually reduced...it even helped clear my nose a bit. And on top of this it withstood about an hours worth of blowing and sneezing.

So I feel I have to shout it from the rooftops - if your nose is a bit sore and red buy some Happinose and suffer no more...it's even got a little to dot the i on the box

It sounds wonderful PQ. Where do you get it? Just ordinary chemists or does it have to be health foody places?

I got it from Boots the chemists at our local supermarket...still in shock at how well it works. My nose *peeled* last night - usually that means I end up with really sensitive patches that are almost bleeding, this morning there isn't a red patch in sight and I've only used the stuff 3 times...very impressive

Now if I can just get rid of this queasiness and shortness of breath I'll be up and about again

It was all tied in with the cold - which seems to have passed almost completely now
