F**king cars...why on earth did I imagine that my not-quite-ancient astra would cost any less to MOT than my rust-held-it-together metro.
So now I have a nice big £170 MOT bill to pay for a car I use maybe once a week but can't get rid of because the once a week is very important.
So now I'll have to put less into the saving account to pay for the eventual excess milage bill on hubby's car...and my credit card will have to have a minimum payment jobby.
On top of this my overdraft is due to shrink in the next couple of months so I'll be paying interest on everything
Why do people tell you that when you graduate and start working your finances will improve - it's been almost 2 yrs of solid working and I'm more in debt now than I was on graduation day (and thats not counting the mortgage)
Anyone willing to pay for some top notch excel tuition?...only £100ph to cover my overheads.

In response to you 'why do people tell you..' question...there is a reason why people tell you stuff that they don't particularly mean.
Same goes for why people tell you that 'life starts at forty'...
geddit?!

Yeah...last time I listen to anyone
Actually I don't think anyone told me...I just assumed that getting paid (rather than trying to get by on a loan) would make life easier
