Sick to death of crying.
I finally got the tears to come, because my mommy was holding me.
I cried for like 5 minutes (which doesn't seem a long time now but it did while it was happening), about Chad. He makes me cry a lot lately. But I still stay. Even though it hurts. Eh.
I never used to cry. Then I started dating him. Now I cry almost every week. It's sick. I feel weak.

Hello Peter,
Not quite sure why I'm reply to this journal entry and not posting a new one, but I just couldn't let this pass without saying something.
But before I get onto that, there are a few other things I'm itching to say.
1) I'm still none the wiser as to why you are called Peter, something to do with Mr Gabreal, but I got confused and gave up trying to make sense of it (that happens alot with me lol). It sounded very silly though, and as I'm a silly sausage, that's ok with me. So welcome and Hello Peter
2) Ooooh another book lover. I'm a massive bookworm myself and constantly have my nose burried between pages of fiction. We seem to like the same sort of authors. I'd love to chat more about books with you if you have time.
3) Finally I come to the important bit. Chad. I know nothing about him, or about your relationship with him, but if he makes you unhappy enough to cry even once, something is wrong.
He cannot love you if he hurts you, simple as that. I'm glad to have your mum to turn to when things get bad. If you need another shoulder to cry on, I'm here.
You have probably read from my space how happy I am with my wife Clare, how much love and respect we have for each other. It's not a faery tale, it does happen, and you should not settle for anything less.
You sounds like a very nice girl caught in a bad situation. If you want to talk about it, I will try and help all I can.
Speak soon
Simon

Hullo Simon!
(Go ahead and scratch.. oh. to SAY.. )
I'm called Peter due to the fact that a friend of mine from H2G2 and I were talking on AIM one day.. and he decided that my name was "Peter", yes after Peter Gabriel.. (He was pretty hung over.. ) Yes.. I'm rather myself as well.
Books are my life, for the most part. I love to read, good at English, etc etc. If you want to talk to me about books, carry on.. because I can talk forever about them. I've been reading since age 4, so that's 14 years' worth of books in my repertoire.
Chad. Chad is just clueless and he can't say no to other people. If things carry on this way though, I am just going to be a brat. Like today, he invited me to go to the movies with him, to see Spider-Man, which I've been wanting to see for a month. Only now he's brought his friend Matt and HIS girlfriend Sam into the picture, who I like very much, but I also happen to know they've seen the movie quite a few times. They are not going to want to see it again. I'm of two minds whether to call him back and have it out now or later on when I get to his house.. but I refuse to go see another movie I don't want to see, just because Chad can't say no. *rolls eyes* What prompted the bout of crying is that he forgot me on our 4 month anniversary after making plans with me, so I was left waiting at our work for two hours. *shakes head* I don't have it in me to end it though, so I must not be done yet for some reason.
It's not anything bad or truly abusive, just a sucky situation.. Which I will work on.. either it'll end, he'll change, or i'll stop needing him.. (HA to the change part)
Anyway.. thanks for listening to my Chad rant.. It's very nice meeting you. You do sound like you have a wonderful relationship with Clare, lucky her..
What book are you reading right now?
-peter the girl.

Simon the Silly Sausage (Gone AWOL from h2g2) Posted Jul 2, 2002
Helloooo again Peter,
Ahh I'm relived to hear the Chad situation ain't as bad as I imagined, sounds like you got it well under control yourself.
What movie did you see in the end? I saw spiderman the other week and thought it was brilliant, hope you got to see it.
It must be frustrating that Chad finds it hard to say no to people. I used to be a bit like that, and then I grew up and put my priorities in order.
Just make sure you are honest with him, and tell him how it makes you feel, and with a bit of luck he'll change.
Books... where to begin, I read absolutely anything I can get my hands on. I was really into Terry Prattchett a few years ago, got all his books and they are still worth a re-read from time to time.
Last book I read was Warlock by Wilbur Smith. Very good if you like Egypt n stuff like that, but predictable story and similar style to all his other books.
What is your all time favorite book?
No More Tears.
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 2, 2002
Cheers, Simon!
Yeah.. I really do love that boy ( As you can tell, things are going well ATM)..
We didn't end up going to a movie.. We had a nice night home alone, just sitting about and watching some rented movies.. Still wanting to see Spiderman..
It is sort of frustrating, but something that I need to learn to deal with.. and just steal him away. Yeah, I do need to communicate a bit more about what I'm wanting/expecting.. That's the area I need to work on.
All time favourite.. besides DNA? Currently, From the Corner of His Eye, by Dean Koontz. Also love the entire Laurell K. Hamilton series, Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter (her Merry Gentry series is pretty dope too) Wilbur Smith Wilbur Smith.. *clicks away at the 'net* I KNEW IT!! D'you know I've read "The Seventh Scroll" about 57 times? I got the book from my dad and it never occurred to me that the guy might've written more books..

Simon the Silly Sausage (Gone AWOL from h2g2) Posted Jul 2, 2002
Lol, love is a funny old thing. Makes everyone behave irrationally, but then where would we be without it.
Communication is important in any relationship, but it does take time to develop properly. I don't think I said more than four words to Clare in our first month together. I was painfully shy.
Luckily she can talk for England, so there were no awkward silences.
You shouldn't feel you have to 'work' at something though, just be yourself, and let Chad be himself, then you'll probably fall more and more in love with each other, and you'll want to make each other happy so much that you'll change without knowing it.
It does sound like you are very much in love with Chad, which is a good start
Books..... Read a few by Dean Koontz, never really got into him, preferred Steven King or Clive Barker for horror.
Haven't heard of Anita Blake, Vampire hunter. sounds a bit like buffy t.v.s. I'll keep an eye out for it.
Lol at Wilbur Smith. Seventh Scroll was quite a good read. WArlock kinda follows on from that.
He has written a few about pirates on the high seas, which I enjoyed, but again, they are all a bit too samey.
I'm getting into kids book alot now, especially since my eldest likes a bed time story. Dr Seuess books rock!

Love is very strange, I agree..
The only way I mean working on something is to be more clear on my needs.. because then they have a bigger chance of getting filled. So it's really a selfish thing so that I can be happy.
I am, goofily in love..
Koontz is less horror now and more spirituality questions.. It's a good read, the one I mentioned, haven't read any of this other new ones.. It IS a bit Buffyish, but I'd rather have Anita than Buffy at my back.. She is one hardcore chick!
Hmm.. ought to check out Warlock then..
Dr. Seuss is the coolest! One Fish, Two Fish rocks my socks (in fact, i HAVE one fish, two fish socks).. and the.. is it Snorlax? Or is that the Pokemon.. *confused* Anyway, I was a part of the Dr. Seuss book club when I was a kiddo..

Hiya Kiddo,
how goes it today ?
Ooooh that chivalry thread really took off didn't it Nice one!
I was in a strange old mood yesterday, think I had a sense of humour bypass or something, cos I couldn't think of anything silly to write all day
Pleased to say I'm feeling exceptionally today. Phew, thank god it was only temporary, life is far too boring when you don't laugh.
Yup, I know what you mean about being clear on your needs, you selfish thing you :P lol. I've found in my many happy years with Clare that the best way to get whatever you want is to do something exceptionally nice for them, then drop subtle hints about what you want them to do for you. Guilt works far better than orders do (I really should learn these smileys one day)
It's nice to meet someone else that's goofily in love. I've been head over heals about Clare since the day we met, and after oooh 13 years, it still hasn't worn off She's fab.
Can't say i'm into spirituality too much, so might give that Koontz book a miss, I do like a bit of philosophy if it's not too heavy, but I tend to stay well clear of religion. It's contagious don't you know
Might have to check out Anita though, I'm a massive Buffy fan, nothing to do with fancying Sarah Michelle Gellar, honest guv. She is pretty cute tho.
Heehee glad you read Dr Seuss, it seems to be much bigger over your side of the pond. Hardly anyone over here has read more than one or two of his books as a kid.
Currently my son has the Fox in socks, which was my fave as a nipper, and the cat in the hat series, and the ABC one. I love all the tongue twisters in fox in socks :P
Not sure about your snorlax, you sure you didn;t invent it? It does sound more seussey than pokemon. pokemon names are naff, just badly translated mixtures of two words. At least seuss was silly on purpose lol.
Right then, I'm off to check out your other reply. and then add something new to the chivalry thread.. TTFN

Hey! (Cool, I get to be Kiddo! --I'm serious, I think that's awesome)
Things are smashing today! I got lots of and went swimming. I discovered there is no H2G2 pool (I think) and I may be soon rectifying that.
Aww.. I'm sorry your laugh button was broke yesterday. That's yucky.
I'm SelfishWoman! (Sorta like Catwoman) Dun du na nah!!
Guilt.. I fear using guilt becos that's the way my mum and grandma live(d) -respectively. I'm not down for that anymore.. As far as I can help it.
Spirituality != Religion, but hey, no biggie. I'm a ex-Catholic confused child.
I definitely strongly reccommend those books! I've got nothing against Sarah Michelle.. Its just that they present her as a tough chick, while Anita is much more truly hardcore.
It's the LORAX, not the Snorlax.. Snorlax IS a Pokemon.
Gotta love the internet, you can find pretty much anything..
Off to next post!

Simon the Silly Sausage (Gone AWOL from h2g2) Posted Jul 3, 2002
Kiddo it is then.
I used to call everyone kiddo, but some poeple found it a bit condescending, so I stopped using it. Glad I've found someone to hang it on again.
what's that? We have a 2 month old baby, that means we don't do the sleep thing anymore.
Actually that's a lie, she's already sleeping through for 8 hours a night, which is more sleep than I ever got even before she was born.
Swimming eh? I love swimming, can't wait to teach my son Charlie how to swim, he loves the pool. Unfortunately we can't go with his sister untill she's had her jabs at 4 months. But not too long to wait.
Make sure you add lots of slides and kids stuff to your h2g2 pool. And can I volunteer to be life guard in the kiddies paddling pool bit? That would be the best job ever
You selfishwoman? nah can't believe that. Never met a selfish woman before. NOT!
Guilt,, hmmm well I guess it just depends how you use it. I'd certainly never use guilt to make Clare feel unhappy or bad about something she'd done. If that's what you meant about you mum and grandma, them I'm very sorry to hear they had to suffer that.
I was just on about silly guilt. Like if I did the ironing, which is normally one of Clares jobs, I'd have alot more chance of her doing something nice for me.
When she finds out I've done a big pile of ironing I tell her it wasn't me, it was the ironing faeries
Clare has never made me feel guilty about anything, late nights out with the lads, talking to other women, wasting money on stuff ew dont need. And I'd never make her feel guilty for anything she did. Problem is she is perfect and never does anything wrong lol.
You mentioned that you wouldn't be down for that 'anymore' does that mean you've been through the guilt trips with someone before too?
Religion, like you say no biggie. I'm another ex-catholic. (see told you it was contageous.) but not confused
I believe in god in a personal way now. Think the church and all that mumble is outdated and manipulative. I had religion forced on me and it turned me against the whole thing. I have no problem with anyones religion, providing they don't have a problem with mine.
You've sold me on the vampo books, I'll look for some on amazon soon.
I do like tough strong hardcore women, hey I married one lol.
Lorax, big blue thing with a flufy nose wasn't it??????
whats a snorlax then? sounds like the pokemon with two attack moves. snoring and laxative!
No More Tears.
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 3, 2002
*dies laughing about the snorlax thing*
*dies again*
I think it's awesome, being called Kiddo. I'm horrid, I'm a junkie for anything that seems remotely dadlike.. Being as I've not seen my dad for almost two years (He lives in New Mexico)..
Reason #34 why I'm not having kids yet - I need my sleep..
Right on! I used to be on the swim team, 'course I've forgotten it all now but I kept my love of all things pool-like ..
I shall have to do that.. Make it a fun place and all.. Have one part for the kiddies and one with big old slides for we adults to go watersliding on.. adn possibly a wave pool. Sure, you can be a lifeguard! I shall have to start it up soon!
*ROFL* Naw, I'm not selifsh.. REALLY...
Believe me yet? *snicker*
No actually my mum and grandma were the best at giving guilt trips I've ever seen.. and I don't want to do that to people. So I try really hard to not be manipulative.. 'cos it's yucky. Silly guilt is just funny..
Ironing faeries do exist, what you talkin' bout, Willis!
another ex-Catholic! or "recovering" Catholic.. LOL I was the first female altar server in the State of Hawaii.. They wrote the higher ups specifically 'cos my dad was whinging on about it.. I left the day they told me all my nonCatholic friends were goin to h-e-doublehockeysticks though.
*giggle* Now about the Snorlax.. a Snorlax is a big huge forest green Pokemon that sleeps all the time.. I haven't actually seen the ep with Snorlax so I don't know too much else (My brother's a Pokemon fan) but I always thought that one, Evee, and Zubat are really cute.
I can't belive I'm talking about Pokemon. Shh.. Don't tell!

Hey Kiddo
I now know you won't be reading this till after you've had your rest. So I can take my time with the reply.
That don't mean there wont be any spelling mistakes or bad grammar, cos that's the only way I write.
Sorry to hear you haven't seen your dad in so long That is such a shame. Some girls, like my clare, tend to develop very close relationships with their dads. guess you'd call them daddys girls, and you sound like one. I hope my little Grace is too
Don't you rush to have kids. As much fun as they are, and believe me, they are more fun than I ever though possible. If you don't enjoy your freedom while you are young, you'll regret it when you don't get the chance.
I was very lucky to meet clare so young (15) we had over ten years of reckless fun together first, which I believe makes us appreciate our kids all the more.
Being selfish, hmmmm I think everyones guilty of that. It's human nature. It just depends on how you go about getting it. If you disregard others to get what you want, that's not good.
But I can tell you aren't that type.
Guilt, well I'm glad your female realtives were givers and not takers. But manupulation is just another form of selfishness really.
My mum is just as bad, she can be such a bitch at times. But she does it in such a way that if ou bite back she just says she was kidding.
I don't get on too well with my folks, which I why I want to try harder with my kids.
What other kind of faeries exist? I'm desperate for a visit from the nappy changing faeries!
LMao at 'recovering' catholic it is pretty traumatic isnt it. We should get support like A.A. etc.
I'm glad you wised up when they said that about your friends, that's the kinda thing that gets up my nose about the Church.
So what's your view of religion now? Does God exist? is there a Heaven/ Hell? It's not something I give much thought to these days, but I'd quite like to chat about it as we seem to share similar backgrounds reagrding religion.
Nothing wrong with Pokemon, but don't worry I wont tell anyone
My fave has to be a jigglypuff. just cos it sounds so camp!
I'm sure I heard one called a w**korweasel once, but I think I may have dreamt that.
I'm off to check out how the chivalry thread is going. Think you are right, there should be an article about it. Wanna write one together??? It would be my first article.
Cheers

Hey Si!
My dad has a total of 4 kids, none of which regularly live with him (except Evan, the youngest, who sometimes does), so he works a lot.. and never really has any money.. ;p I suppose I am sort of a daddy's girl..
Exactly.. My mum had us when she was 24, and got married at 18 and I always sort of used to get the feeling she resented us. Now not so much anymore, but it convinced me that I wasn't going to get tied down until I was good and ready.
It's not fair to disregard others' feelings, that's why.. Plus if I ever do it I feel like a complete git. :P
Right on, I think sometimes that breaking away is better than turning into a carbon copy of them and inflicting that on your kids too.. I saw it happen in my family, hence why I'm not sure I want to have some kiddos..
There are millions of types of faeries! I hope the nappy changing faeries come to you soon! I've changed a few on Evan, so I sort of understand.. Ick.
I believe in God, but I don't know about Heaven/Hell. I just think the Church is a load of carp. I don't think God would be so unforgiving as all that. I think if people are good people, then they will a. have a happy life here on earth, and b. probably be happy after they die too, whether there's an afterlife, reincarnation, whatever..
Jigglypuffs are pretty funny.. So are Clefairies and Clefables. Ack! Didn't know I knew this much about Pokemon.. Never heard of that last one with the nasty w**k word in it..
We so could! Hey, are you a Thingite? 'Cos I might end up making the pool there.. Dunno yet. Off to your next post!

Simon the Silly Sausage (Gone AWOL from h2g2) Posted Jul 4, 2002
Been called a few things in my years, but never a Thingite. So I'm not sure if I am one or not
I guess it's a h2g2 group right? I'll go have a look later if you recommend it.
That's sweet you are still a daddy's girl, even though he isn't around much in your life.
Lol at you calling yourself a 'git', that is such a British word, I've never heard anyone from your side of the pond use it before.
Sounds like you have a strong sense of morals, good on ya babe!
I wuddn't let what happened to your folks put you off having kiddie winks for life. Just wait until the time feels right. Honestly Peter, having kids is an amazing adventure, you go through so many emotions you never knew you had. If you thought you felt love for Chad, you wait till you hold your first baby for the first time
It's your choice tho, some people don't ever see themselves as parent material, but I'm just saying, dont rule it out. It's worth it.
I'll stop talking about pokemon now, cos your far superior knowledge is making me feel stupid.
Lets get back onto books.
Have you read any Harry Potter novels?
No More Tears.
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 4, 2002
Thingites are an illustrious group based @ A516647 .. I think they're pretty cool anyway.
Well, I absolutely love slang from other languages, I pick it up and just use it in place of words.. I use lots of Spanish and German too, but I have to work on editing those out here on H2..
That's why I'm not getting tied off or any such, I know myself and I figure I'll change my mind at some point.. I just know it's not right for me right now.. But I do love babies.. Even if they do make me blinking nervous..
Have I read Harry Potter? Have *I* read Harry Potter? *faints*
Just Kidding! Yes, I've read Harry Potter.. I'm one of those horrid addicts that you see reading FanFiction all the time and generally making prats of themselves over it. Name any random character and I will probably know who you are talking about.. So who's your favorite? Hermione's mine.

Simon the Silly Sausage (Gone AWOL from h2g2) Posted Jul 5, 2002
Hey Kiddo,
I know all about Thingites now (cuddnt find a smug smilie)
I have enough trouble remembering what the days of the week are now, without some beggar changing them lol.
Ahh you shouldn't be nervous about babies, they are a bit worrying when you don't know what they want, and have all the responsibility of looking after them, but that's what's so rewarding, when you work out what was making them cry, and they stop
Ooooh ya thief! Hermione is my fave character. Already told you I like strong willed women! I'd love my Grace to be as precotious as that when she gets to that age
Hermione's also such a book head, she has to get my vote.
Sooooooo if you like Harry Potter, how about Tolkien?
And why did you sign off with a K when your name is Peter.

Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 7, 2002
Pretty cool, aren't we? I mean, we fight with SPORKS!
It's a wonderful Doobry today..
Dunno, I don't quite have the patience for babies just yet..
Ha! I like Hermione so there! She's just cool. Even if she does get portrayed as a complete jerk in the first movie..
Tolkien is fun.. I've read it once. I didn't used to be able to get into it, but then I read it in one big sitting in the three months before LOTR came out in theatres..
And I won't reply to that last one..
