Thanks for the link, I rarely download freeware, I'd just neglected to scan for quite a while smiley - bigeyes. My brother's laptop then deleted a virus from my laptop (they're currently networked) so I thought I'd better check. smiley - smiley

tell him about the 'remove freeware containing software' site~ maybe that`ll be new to him~

I don`t doubt that we`ll easily have 100`s of them dern critters..smiley - footprints..on OUR pc that is smiley - laughsmiley - winkeyesmiley - nahnah
The critter that got R spawned 100`s of mini- critters(which it would then find via a spybot scan).It kept itself in business-oh,& it was totally undectable too..Supposedly,if you have a Linux system,it`s configured so that spybots can`t get hold of yr.pc in the 1st place~
