And as for Divali...
I was ill on saturday night, had a fever and was sort of half hallucinating. I didn't know where I was, and there were these massive fireworks going off. And I mean BIG. I think it was probably my muffled hearing due to illness, but it sounded like they were all going off outside my bedroom. Every couple of minutes there was a huge explosion that would set of car alarms for a good few blocks around me.
I thought I was in the middle of a warzone, or something. Was not a pleasant night.
