Battle of the bustles

It was the first dress rehearsal for the show last night, only I seem to be lacking in dress! 
I've got a full Victorian rig, complete with a busstle (very awkward to get into) and rather a nice hat.
Apart from that and some plastic armour that makes me look like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz I'm a tad short on the costume front. 
Looks like I'll be attacking the English in a busstle then.

I may yet need one pheloxi!!! Although you'd be better off with a large pair of scissors as the armour has been made out of a thick rubbery plastic.

Ha ha ha ha ha haaaa!!!! 
The plot has worked, and the King's army has been spared from marching into battle in the constricting Tin man costumes. After pointing out that we could hardly move to fight we've been granted a reprieve, and the knitted chain mail has been doled out.

I enjoyed myself imensly. We had a good audience for a first night, and the show kept up to pace.
There were late enterances, a few missed ques and it was drizzling, but it was still 
.
ONe of the fights went a tad pear shapped when one chap didn't turn up and two of us were left with on one to fight. We turned on each other, and I was killed by my own side but... .... the audience will never know.
Fireworks were very 
....and, and,..... I'll shut up now.
Nine shows left to do!!!

From the post he made earlier...I have the sneakiest suspicion that you woke him up when you got in....and I have this picture of him all blury eyed and ruffled hair as he came down stairs to see what was going on.
