reminds of my towns trainstation...
orginal it was art deco, but in 70s everything should be business like and main hall was the art deco put behind white boards. iat end of the 90s the man in charge was about leave he like art deco show he strted action to bring old glory and realy succeed. Queen Beatrix opened it after renovation. it is considered one of most beatifull trainstations in The Netherlands.

sadly the surounding building were build in 80s and are boring. they wer build because Post and Telephone company then still goverment hands needed to go north. board of directors should live in the north. it never realy happened, because directors like The Hague too much. now the Post and Telephone company is split some of buildings are office for other companies.
