Decided to keep him then? I wonder if he's a good rabbiter- you might get some free meals out of him!

I've still got him at the moment; I don't think I can keep him permamently though. Traveling and weekends away would cause problems, I've someone who'll quite happily guinea pig sit, but who won't look after a ferret.

He'd probably make a good rabbiter - he's inquisative and full of energy. Thing is I couldn't deal with the bodies. I've nothing against the idea, my brother is a gamekeeper and the family regularly gets various meals from him when he comes back to the area to visit. Personally I can't deal with blood, so skinning and gutting a rabbit, wouldn't happen. I'd be flat on the floor out cold.

I'd offer, but atm I'm between houses and stopping with my parents, so I think not

He would make life a tad difficult then.

He came into work with me on Wednesday, I took him up the 'Animal Care' center to have his claws clipped. He managed to be incredibly cute and one of the students is trying to persuade his parents that a ferret would be a good idea. I don't think he's having much luck though.

I've an Uncle who'll have him eventually if I can't find anyone else who wants him; but he can't take him atm.

In the meantime I'm becoming very attached to him....... at this rate he'll end up staying.

Well, if you've still got him in about a month, give me a shout. Since the resident mutt is bloody useless, I might as well have at least *one* useful animal about the place.
