Quite possibly you are Pheloxi but I thought you might offer some advice. If you don;t want to know, then I shall withhold such advice in the future. Fair enough really.

which is why I have never corrected your english so far as you are plenty capable of making yourself understood. However in this instance you had incorrectly used a word suggesting a spot of confusion which I though I might clarify for you.
I could never forget you are not english nor that your english is far better than my dutch. Don't take things so personally!

it was indeed a somewhat shakey old tower. Fun though
You rung in Lincolnshire at all? I once had the chance to ring in Lincoln Cathedral but it didn;t happen. A mates dad was head bell ringer there, he even wrote a campanology book, which did wonders for the 'cool' standing of his 14 yr old son at school, not!

Pheloxi, your English is good.
Icotan, I've not rung anywhere in Lincolnshire yet but I'll get round to it soonish. There'll be a practice I can gate-crash at some stage when I'm up visiting B if I can sneak off for an hour or so. The bells in the village where he lives are un-ringable but there are plenty of other towers around in the area.
As for bells and school, they just don't mix. The amount of stick I used to take at one stage . People soon got used to the idea, although I still got the occasional "off for a nights pulling" joke even in the sixth form.
Can I ask why you stopped? Well obviously I've asked, whether you answer......
