How do I reference a web page if I use it for researching when writing an essay?

Writing for the guide, in the near future, yes. When the spirit moves me. And this week the spirit gave me a cold, so it will have to be next week.

My main concern is a course I'm taking on the European Union. The textbook is very confusing, but I have found some understandable information on the Internet, but I don't want to write an essay using it without giving credit to the makers of the page.
