He and Dara O'Briain have been pretty disparaging about Astrologers and 'Fortune Teller's' in general, I said it was a science just as much as Astronomy is and to beware of who you abuse as Karma can bite your arse without warning.

Mine "A proper scientist would sit down calmly and listen to both sides of the story and form a proper opinion"

And I used to respect this man for the way he made Astronomy appeal to the people.

Now I see him for a small minded bigot

I'm afraid that astrology is not science as it is neither testable nor observable. Shame on Brian Cox for being such a... cox about it though.

While I've yet to see anything to convince me that astrology works as advertised I have to say that almost everything is testable and observable in some way - Although if scientist tested and observed astrology I suspect astrology practitioners and fans would not like the conclusions drawn.

It is observable, I can let you sit with me and watch

I think Professer Cox is in too deep now and is just lashing out at anyone who dares to contradict him, I posted several times to him during the Stargazing Live and I got no reply, now he's replying abuse because I've dared to say "Hang on a mo..."

I'm all for it, if testing is good enough for Mediums then it's good enough for Astrology and Tarot,

Professer Cox is really getting a lot of stick over his views as are the BBC for not reprimanding him or putting out an objective response

Tarot and Karma have always worked for me

That could be fun, but I think the reserchers have other pressing debates at the moment

Makea refreshing change from the barrage of conversations on the imminent demise of Hootoo.

We could get down to some good old puerile flaming and trolling . I could bring my sock puppet along to enliven things if they get a bit dull such a Troll Face (google that one, it's fun)
