If you get yikesed is there any way you can find out who did it and why ?
And if someone is doing it for no reason surely they are the ones who should be reprimanded.
Not sure what happens if you yikes somebody or if you are yikesed yourself, but if there is nothing wrong with the posting don't the italics realise that someone is just being very childish, they must have some way of sending a warning to the offender.

It will only come to the attention of the Powers if we contest a moderation. But as I have received no notices on several phantom hits yet today, it's pretty hard to contest, eh?

Hi Whamster, I have an idea who's doing it, or I could have fallen foul of the profanity filter. Rev Nick is also a victim of this person or maybe it is another person, but it's pretty much useless appealing to the italics and as the italics and I rarely see eye to eye, they're not exactly going to come out in my favour, hopefully whoever is doing this will be reprimanded over extensive use of the but I'm not holding my breath

It's probably worth a try anyway... from my own observations any favouritism or lack thereof with the Italics and any particular Researcher is generally a misconception.

I have replied to the only Moderation note I have received. AND directly approached the Feedback e-mail. No responses ...

So has this just started today? I know it's hard to do but if you just ignore this silly childish fool they will probably get fed up and go back to playing with their dolls or carry on trying to finish that very hard four piece jigsaw!

I'm fairly certain that the ones-who-are-offended are plainly known by TPTB. And nothing will be done. In fact, by using that phrase, I will probably be moderated again for being "confrontational" and trying to intentionally incite dischord.

Not I. IF I hear from any of the half-dozen "pending" moderations, I will firmly and politely reply as I always do. It's never done any good because, I can only guess, my interpretation of the English language is quite different from that of your side of the pond.
