I've Had Enough

I would have loved to continue with chemistry to O-level instead of needlework or something like art (which for me are both things that I do as a hobby) but if we did Chemistry, we had to do physics. And rightly or wrongly I hated the teacher so much I wouldn't even consider it.
So Chemistry was closed to me, full stop.
I had a different problem. I wanted to do English French and Russian A-levels, but that was considered "too many essay subjects" - and against my will I was pushed into Maths instead of English (on the basis of an A at O-level, which bore no resemblence to the a-level) Then when I got back to school, they hadn't maaged to timetable French & Russian, so I was pushed into Economics and that was that.
Er... what was the topic again?
Oh, and yes TC, the German school system makes me want to scream. But there it is, we both have to live with it.

We had a very... experimental English department in Highschool, and I was actually put into the Native English Speakers class, though I was born in Israel and have only left it for the first time when I was 17, I think... We've studied American Literature, and did A levels a year earlier than normal, so I had a nice final year in Highschool.
