Fizzymouse- no place like home Started conversation Dec 10, 2006
I've recently added a 'where the chats at' link to my PS, and I hate it - but can't bear to remove it.
I find myself sitting in the evenings and clicking the link then in peoples conversations......I just can't resist it.
Help needed.
Should I remove the link and do what I used to do or keep the link and further allow this bad habit to develop.
It's a worry.

*lies on the couch with a notebook* *snore*.. Whaaa??.. *cough*
Would you care to tell me about all this lurking?

I think it began when I didn't get a reply to my application to join the lurkers - this is where I met Megachedda btw.
Shortly thereafter I noticed that some folks had a button on their PS which took me to a list of recent postings.
This is where things took a turn for the worse - I copied the link and stuck it on my PS, then if there was nothing going on in my conversations I'd just press the link and look into other peoples convos.
Seems pretty harmless I know, but now I find myself sitting here every evening watching other peoples lives go by and hardly noticing my own.
Worrying
Your advice please.

*scratches her nose with the end of the pen.. leaving everywhere*
Ummmm... Do you find these conversations interesting?

Sometimes, but mostly I'm just nosey - read a couple of postings and move on to the next.
If it isn't a private convo I may even post if I'm interested enough. As a result of this I have squillions of threads on my PS now too. Very untidy.
Do you think there is any hope for me.

One last question; Do you have problems sleeping at night?

Ummmpf - I guess I'm the wrong person to ask for advice on this problem
You know, I guess you're not alone, though.

Do you too then Bel
I always did but with the addition of this button on my PS I appear to be doing it now on a professional scale.

I don't have the time to , I can hardly keep up with my own conversations, PR etc. But I have always an open ear for 'Klatsch & Tratsch' as we'd say here. (gossip & schmooze)
