Why is it any thing that the Nation atempts to keep in theis country, apears to on the verge of sale to another country, before the publicity macines step up a gear. ( Or is it their plan?)
The Latest is the Flying Scotsman railway train enginine. I was not a train spotter, but seeing it leave Kings Cross station in a cloud of steam, it was magnificient. How sad it may return to America again.

i don't know much about trains myself, but i understand what you're saying...
will we have any british history left for future generations to learn from, or are we to become extint... after all, we're not british anymore are we, we're european.... what a joke, i've never held a passport in my life, let alone set foot outside of the country...
and why do the yanks want to buy all of our history, haven't they got enough of their own.... maybe they want to take us over like they did with the red indians... well they're not getting their hands on my feathers... lol...
we'll sell them 10 downing street eh, it's of no earthly use to us......
