Christmas is approaching. Its continuos march toward that fixed day, is resettles.

At last I am beginning to prepare.

Last week headed to the shops, and even found something.
Last night I was looking for a recipe for both Christmas cake and . Delia was not to my taste, Suddenly I came across a slip of paper, headed

"Christmas Cake 1952" on the other side "Xmas pudding 1952" (This was the year of by birth.)How could I resist?

I now have a bowl of dried fruit mellowing in a generous amount of alcohol. By they weekend they will be ready for use.

Now for the puddings. I had no idea how much the quantities would make, I needed to upsize the mixing bowl. With a wonderful stir, I paused making the tradition wish.

Well now I have cooked the smallest pudding, my house is filling with the memories of youth. Maybe I'm beginning to invent a new Christmas feeling. Replacing the one I have lost.

This year will be different, not reminiscencing but creating a new Christmas memory. Perhaps I will look forward to another Christmas, not dread the 25Th December.

then telewest decided to upgrade and now i got probs with my keyboard...

It does seem a long time since we last comunicated.

Come, come now. Christams puds are easy to put together. I have 2 more to steam tonight, presently they are gently nessling in blenty of brandy. No driving after a piece of my puds. lol

Well I hope the devil gets hold of you, and makes you cook.

The spirit of Christams has been drained in the last few years, and Im doing someting completly diferent. If I'm sober enough to drive I'm going to on a Welsh mountain on or over Chriatmas.

Strange things I have a friend who is complaing that ever since telewst has put in an upgrade, they have been experienceing problems.

good morning lightman....
christmas puds are too much like hard work, especially when i don't like them, and, they don't like me... lol... they lie too heavy for me, as does christmas cake...

i don't know if it's me being older or christmas being so commercialised, but it doesn't seem to excite me anymore.... just seems a day of endless cooking and washing up...
i try to make the effort as we have a 10yr old daughter... now she's looking forward to it as she's getting a BMX stunt bike... lol... and if she thinks i'm wrapping it up, well she can go lol...
i suppose my disabilities don't help my enthusiasm these days, everything's just so hard work...
i suppose i'll feel more festive once i can be arsed to put the tree up...
i'm already mad, but i'll keep smiling anyway, it helps with the wrinkles... lol
can't you just tell it's christmas tho', they've dusted off sir cliff and given him yet another christmas song, and yes it sounds just like his previous ones... crap.. lol..

hi again... it would be a brave devil to take hold of me, and as for making me cook, well the family haven't worked out that one yet... lol...

i've just been on phone to telewest about this keyboard prob that myself and countless others have developed, they are aware of the probs and are looking into it....
gawd knows what they'll do about it tho'... lol...
